    My plan is to put the 288 GTO side gills on, and add a belly cover to the engine area with a clean looking diffuser.

    Would love to find a easy way to remove the body work around the engine for better access.

    At one point you mention not putting in window due to weight. The more I thought about it I remember having to cover the passenger window with clear visqueen once and the way the air caused the plastic cover to change shape. The front of the window was being pulled out, while the back was being sucked in. Just wonder how much drag this would create with both sides open at speed.
