    went to autosports for the first time this year. i love the new maserati showroom with the overview of the new "used" car showroom. the salesmen were attentative, but didn't seem too interested to see if i was in the market to buy anything they had to sell, even though i showed up in a pretty nice porsche.

    regardless, they had three F430's in stock. two spiders and a stunning anthracite/tan berlinetta. car looks 100% better in person. like most ferrari's, photos don't do it justice. i only wish they had a 612 so i could reach a similar conclusion.

    p.s. downtown hinsdale is a really nice town with a lot of unique charm.

    The people at Continental are low pressure, that's why it may seem they were not "too interested to see if i was in the market to buy anything they had to sell, even though i showed up in a pretty nice porsche."

    I like being able to browse without a salesperson breathing down my neck.

    The "anthracite/tan" is in actuality grigio silverstone/cuoio (natural). It is spectacular, and was enough confirmation to confirm that it's the right color combination for my spider, which may well be here by the end of the year.
