Some I've seen look washed out and some were really vibrant, vivid yellow. Were there two different shades of yellow on the 355?

I had a 98 355 F1 spider, fly yellow, and my understanding is that there is only one yellow and it's fly yellow. Having said that, I've seen the difference that professional detailing can make, changing a relatively lacklustre car into one that just shimmers as if it's been freshly baked in clearcoat.

generally speaking, it's all Giallo Modena, and pictures just show it off very differently depending up on the lighting.

that said, you can of course order your Ferrari in any color you want. so there may be other yellows out there.

but in terms of factory standard paint finishes, it's just Giallo Modena.

The factory does not let one alter the shade of yellow, even upon special request. It's Giallo Modena or no yellow at all.

I didn't know Giallo Modena and Fly Yellow were the same colors.
