Oh ya, I was an angel! Here's what I can remember:

    3rd Grade

*Locked the janitor in his office by placing a stick on the door
*Changed the configuration of the spark plug wires on my dad's wagon
*Painted the carpet in my bedroom because I did not like the color
*Yelled at my mom from the tub telling her I was drowning

    4th Grade

    * Assisted two friends in blowing up the plumbing in the boys bathroom with
an M80 that we flushed down the toilet. (Catholoc school)
    * Got a screwdrive and switched the locks on two classrooms
    * Put rocks on a train track at a local theme park
    * Final report card: Class Clown

    5th Grade

*Wound a history film backwards on the reel before showed. That was a
    good one!
*Tied my dad's lawnmower to the rear bumper of his Chevelle with
fishing line. That was a riot until he beat me to an inch of my life!
*Put a Chihuahua in my neighbors bird cage and hid his bird

    6th Grade

*Put a gardner snake in the girls desk next to me (Three days off)

    7th-8th grade

*Threw a smoke bomb in the girls shower
*Turned the master power switch off at a dance in the gym
    *TP'd the principals car
*I had a paper route. My older brother had very hairy legs. I laid a
layer of rubber bands in his bed. When he slid under the sheets, all
of the rubber bands rolled up in his leg hairs. I thought he was going to
    die!

    9th Grade

*Placed Lindberger cheese on the shop teachers radiator. He had to sell
the car because is stunk so bad!
*Took long screws and put them in the side wall of the drawers of my dad's
workbench. He could not figure out how to get them open!
*Replaced the Thanksgiving day turkey in my mom's oven with a cornish
game hen that I had in the neighbors oven. Mom almost had a stroke.

No. I was a pretty well behaved. Went to 3 different high schools too, in different areas, and had to learn to fend for myself socially and make new friends.

Now that I think about it, my worst run-ins with authority were rather silly:

I remember in Gr. 7 I was having a washroom waterfight with a friend, he ran out into the entryway -they were the kind w/o a door, but a dogleg hallway. I filled my cupped hands with water as I saw his shadow come back around the corner and... threw water directly into the principal's face. He grabbed my ear and let me have it all the way down the hall. I think he even called my house for that.

On the very last day of grade 9, my friends were going to McD's for lunch and I had to grab my money from my locker. We had these ancient lockers were the slot for the lock could get stuck in front of the door and pin it shut. I struggled with my door as a dozen guys waited down the crowded hallway for me. Frustrated, I kicked the door and said, "$#1T!" Immediately the bear paw of the vice principal slams down on my shoulder. 'Friends' bolted. Another call home.

My mother was laughing at me, how lame it was I got caught for *that.*

The last day of school in 2nd grade, the principal stood at the top of the second floor flight of stairs, saying goodbye to all the girls and boys as they descended to the first floor and exited the building... once halfway down, already passed him, i said, "See you later, sh_t head!" and bolted; he started screaming, demanding who said it and that whoever it was come back up the stairs, but that didn't happen... :)

i remember getting arrested in 8th grade; my father had to come to the court house to pick me up... As if that wasn't bad enough, i told the people there that i'd rather stay than go home with him (and face the consequences); they said something to him after i said that... Whatever they said to him, it involved the words "child services", as if to imply that he was an unfit parent... i took that one on the chin when we got home... :)

I did the usual stuff in HS, except for drugs, which seem like they are popular. Got caught for some stuff, but not for anything serious. The wosrt that ever happened was we "donated our beer to the local police benevolent association." This used to happen alot when we would bbq in the woods behind my house until we realized that we should hide most of it. Its good to grow up in a small town where you know and are friends with the police and if you respect them, they will let you off the hook all the time and never take you in. If you are real lucky they will even let you off with a warning for doing 80 in a 30, and only tell your dad you were doing 60.

I got taken to the police station in 5th grade for brutal battery. My dad had to pick me up, was not happy. When we were moving to Florida, my middle school let me go 2 weeks early , because they were afraid i was planning to blow up the school before i left. In 3rd grade, i got kicked out of Catholic school for skipping 2 weeks of school, and putting thumb tacks on the nuns chair. My dad would drop me off at school, and id leave, spend the day at local stores, and then walk home. I wont even get into later years!

    Ryan,

I think I can beat you. Through junior high and high school (in the us), I got detention one time, and was kept by my English Teacher after school, Mr. Pardi, for 45 minutes. All for talking to my friend in class, during the lecture.

    :)

My senior year in high school...

i was on the "committee" for the year book... When it came to my own, personal page, i wrote a paragraph thanking all the people who helped me throughout high school... Below that paragraph, i wrote a poem; the first letter of each sentence in the poem spelled out, "F_CK THE REST OF YOU"... No one found out until after all the year books were printed... i was banned from graduation and they retracted the award slated for me, for the graphic design of the year book... All in all, it was still well worth it, to see the looks on the faces of those 6 top people of the school, in that meeting, the day i got caught...

LOL. This reminds me of my friend, who was student body prez and on the 'video yearbook' committee... 10 mins after the video ended he included a 10 min clip he'd made with friends, The Adventures of Thongboy - him, a stocky *white* guy: shopping, playing golf, offering free car washes on the main street, etc. in nothing but a Euro thong and sneakers. It made the local news, he got sued for 'distributing pornography' and some other trouble. It was like 8 years ago, and apparently he still gets recognized in his relatively large Rocky Mt area city.

Right before my high school graduation, my friends asked what I wanted for my birthday, and I said I wanted to duct tape this smartmouth kid in my dorm (boarding school) to the big statue out front of our school. My friends became possessed with the idea, and jumped him in his bed at 6am, taped him up, carried him to the cafeteria and strapped him down to a picnic table they had hoisted onto the roof, over the main entrance. They even got it on videotape :D.

I was a pretty good kid. I never got caught for the things I did, except for one time.

When I was in 9th grade my older brother gave me some niacin pills. He told me that they will make you turn red, get really hot, and start sweating profusely. It only worked on some people though. I tried it, and it had not affect on me, so I gave it to a friend. He told me that he had a headache and needed some asprin. I gave him a few niacin tablets and 20 minutes later he was sitting on my driveway with his shirtoff laying on the 30 degree cement (it was winter at the time) trying to cool off. I then it worked so I went to the store and bought a bottle. It is a over the counter drug because it is basically vitamin B-12. The next day I took it to school and was trying to get people to take them. Finally a girl mentioned she had a headache and so I offered my "asprin" 20 minutes later she was in the bathroom wondering what was wrong.

A few hours later I was called to the principal's office. He asked me why I had drugs and was passing them out. I told him they were my vitamins and that some girl wanted some vitamins too. He didn't buy it and told me never to bring them back to the school or I would be expelled.

Other then that experience, I never put too much worry in my parent's minds.

I was a bit of a klepto (sp) as a child. I remember being in kindergarten and having show and tell. One day another kid in class brought a little pewter figurine of some sort in and showed the class. I thought that this trinket was kinda cool for some reason. Immediately after show and tell we had recess. We all put our items on a folding table in the classroom. I made sure I was the last one out the door and, on my way out, I pocketed said figurine. After recess the kid was a wreck because someone had taken his toy. The teacher went through the room and questioned everyone but to no avail. I forget what I did with the figurine but I still had it several years later.

Ah, stealing things... makes me recall my HS wrestling days.

I was the guy that would pick the Master locks on the lockers so everyone else could take souvenirs. I only took one item, ever... gym shorts and shirt from the school of a guy that I wrestled once and lost to on a BS call. (I was destroying him at the time and as I was putting him to his back, the ref said both my shoulder blades hit and gave the other guy the win.)

Other than that, I was pretty good. Nothing outrageous. Used to "play" with phones a lot. Had the police come to my house once on such an occasion. I always carried a list of phone numbers - hacked PBXs, codes, "free" LD carriers, etc. I would remotely break into my friends' answering machines, change outgoing messages. All harmless.

I was a pretty good kid and teen. Only suspended once, for fighting.

My friends last year ended up stealing I think 3 letter jackets by the end of the year. That kind of sucks because those things are sort of expensive. Other than that I just took a few random shirts.

Oh, and at the all star meet this year my friend stole a cross off the wall from a catholic school... hah...

What is it with wrestlers and stealing anyway?

You starve yourself for months and the only time to eat is after weigh ins, when you load up on pasta and fruit. Then there's time to kill between weigh ins and the matches, so you have to do something to keep you busy - meditate on the match ahead, lay down, talk, steal, etc.

I mean, take a bunch of kids who are generally cranky for an entire season due to lack of food, give them a carb/sugar rush and some boredom, and bam... you've just found out how to homebrew a thief.

I was a pretty good kid. Never drank, smoked, did drugs, etc, (Still never have) but I was into playing pranks.

I went to preppy boarding school in Boca Raton, FL. One of the meanest people that we ever had to encounter was the school librarian, who used to kick us out of the library often for talking. One night, I got into the school's library with a couple of friends and we went through the entire research section turing all the books backwards so that the pages faced outwards instead of the titles. It took us 3 hours to the whole wing. The next day, no one could find any of the books they were looking for and it took the librarian almost two days to straighten everything out. Needless to say, she was pissed.

Another time 10 of us snuck into the the school cafateria and managed to move all of the tables and set up the cafeteria exactly how it was (complete with coke machines and salad bar) on the lawn outside the building.

Worst prank of all was probably the time two of us snuck into the biology lab and took out a dozen dead cats (for dissection) and placed them all over campus. We hung two fom the flag pole in the center of campus, placed two in the teacher's lounge (including one in the copier), hid one in the library (of course) and placed the others in the toilets of the girls bathrooms. By the time everyone showed up to school the next day, those cats were ripe.

I never left anythnig in locker rooms at away matches. I knew some scumbag wrestler from the other team would steal my sh*t after i kicked his ass. No one ever stole stuff from me though. That kinds of stuff pisses me off. BTW, as i am writing this, i am wearing my HS wrestling shirt from senior year, the one that has all the scores from our dual meets. The closes anyone came to beating us was the next town over, 36-33. The rest we all won by 30+pts. No one can steal an undefeated season from you!

Hey, if the Ref didn't see it, it didn't happen, ok!?

One of the funnier ones we pulled involved:

    1) a Life Sized Spice Girls cardboard cutout.

    2) 8.5x11 head-shots of select menbers of the Facualty.

    3) Duct Tape (all good plans involve duct tape).

    4) A Flag Pole.

    5) Taping wire mesh and other doo-dads around the flag's ropes 6' tall so it was very very difficult to remove.

The best part was watching literally all morning as a very fustrated Dean worked tirelessly to 'liberate' the poster!

There are others, but I belive the statute of limitations is yet to expire.

ryalex- Oh, you remind me, I also got busted for some kind of 'assaulting with duct tape'.

Well, a good friend of mine and I were circling another good friend of mine with two rolls of duct tape, rapidly turning him into a 'duct tape mummy'. But he was laughing about it.

Some people take things far too seriously. My parents and I still laugh about it to this day!

    Fond memories...

I dusted a teacher's chair with the chalk duster before a Geography class. He sat on it and noticed it was slippier than usual, stood and kept the class in for the 20 minute break time. No one grassed me up amazingly. But I gave myself in on the Monday after. Melcolm Kelly rules. (The teacher)

I also put a fart machine behind his chalk board, sat in the back of class with the remote and without a doubt he knew it was me and called me up to remove it. He didn't even confiscate it! I did many other things while being a student of Melcomn Kelly....top guy. I did alot of other things in that class too.

I've been cautioned by the police plenty of times for prank phonecalls. Those were great fun but also harmless. Last summer was the last time I got cautioned for this and that was using an Arnold Swarzneggar (sp?) sound board from ebaumsworld website or something, had the police knocking on my door a month later.

I also got chased plenty of times for getting into high rise buildings, the security would see us follow some residents into the building on the CCTV system, then me and my friends use to get onto the fire exit that was on the roof. This was about 80-100feet up. Great view up there.

I once was with some friends who were a bad influence at the time, we found an abandoned building and thought we would turn it into our "Club House". We got into the attick and found some mice living there, we tried to smoke them out but the building ended up burning down, someone who was totally unattached to the accident got the blame.

Went through the phase where wild hair cuts were the thing like three-four years ago. One was a seargent bilco style cut where the sides and back were wet shaved and the top was spiked, the other was not washing my hair with shampoo/conditionor for six months and letting it grow to my shoulders....pretty wild.

Went through another phase where Cannibis was cool...you know what happens during that phase, it's self explanationary.

Done the usual things in my early teens like sneaking out late at night, accidentally smashing windows by throwing stones at them to get the attention of the people inside, trying alcohol, trying out cigarettes and so forth.

Took up Scouts, I was soo rebellious there but was respected at the same time. Pretty amazing, that I just didn't get given the boot. Great people at that club.

I don't do anything that's a danger to others although a do go to the line of the law once in a while, say donuts in an empty carpark at night, drag racing with a couple friends down a deserted dual lane promenade with those "islands" placed right down the middle of the two lanes, getting into pubs while still underage, that type of thing.

I think as I get older I become more settled the girlfriend/family helps with that too.

I was literally a legend back then and still retain my popularity today.

I guess being outgoing and an activist at the same time does and will bring you to the narrow line that the law is, once in a while.
