    I was just watching a Top Gear review of the TVR Tuscan. In one part, Tiff says "And if, like me, you don't like the green sweets, you can simply make them disapear." then he puts a little green mint into a little cup (a small, hallowed out half-sphere) just below the dashboard and rotates it vertically and when the hallowed out part comes back up the mint is gone! I was just wondering exactly what this is.

    I believe it's a garbage. When the cup tips upsidedown the garbage falls into a little bin underneath.

    Lol, no. That would be a nice garbage thing, though. I haven't seen the video, but I have been in plenty of Tuscans.

    Most likely it's just an airconditioning vent. Now there will be a sweet rattling around in the air duct. Unless it melts and sticks somewhere. Other thing it could be is the ashtray, but those swivel horizontally (or you'd spill ash everywhere). Got a link to the vid? I can tell you for sure then.

    Some pictures here...do you see them in any of the pics or are they lower? If they are lower, they are almost definitely the air conditioning vents.

    Definitely not a/c. I just watched the video again and it looked like a special ashtray. It was a few inches in front of the gear knob. The car was a Tuscan Speed 6 if that makes a difference. I'll see if I can get some screen shots.

    That would be the ashtray.

    It's a circle, divided into sections--one is for change, one for cigarette ash (or whatever you want to do with it). It closes the section when rotated.

    Tiff must have put the sweet in one half, then rotated it around to reveal the other section, which was, of course, empty.

    Nifty, but not a garbage disposal.

    The video showed him rotate it 360 degrees so I don't know how there was another half to that. It looked like a pretty small sphere and was almost 100% hollow.

    Maybe it did fall out... lol! I wouldn't be surprised.

    TVR isn't exactly known for their "finishing touches"...
