Often watch "MTVs pimp my ride" and have noticed they sometimes show in the background of West Coast Custums exotics like an Enzo, Diablos and other ferraris and Mercs that they are modding. Has any one got any pics of any of the exotics that they have done? Or is there a link?
I know there are certain people on here with predudice`es towards the MTV culture for one sad reason or another, but the West Coast Custums do seem first class in there work. Thanks for any responces.

the enzo pic's are of the same car and the same location but the left side wheels are silver and the right side are black...what's the deal?

Also, the purple lamborghini on the WWC site is for sale and it at Black on Black. It looks horrible.

The TV show does make the crew there seem goofy, but a friend of mine knows the owner and they do awesome work. I think they ham it up for the camera. But your right just based on the TV show and not really knowing I probably wouldn't mine there either.

I am only mildly impressed at the quality of their work.

They do seem at least relatively creative however.

I think one can do better.

  11. What can they offer you ? High end useless heavy audio systems with 50 subwoofers and 100,000 watts, Extreme Tints, Spinnaz and other ugly chrome wheels, Custom interiors and ugly flashy exterior colors. Basically who you see going there are Rappers and other nba and nfl players with money and nothing to spend it. Which is fine but my cars would never see that place nor would I ever consider giving any peace of machinery to them except maybe a old riding lawn mower.

The Enzo was sent there so the owner of Giovanna Wheels could make two custom pairs for it with the same design (one pair being silver on the left side and one being black on the right). It belongs to someone in Canada and has already been returned if I remember right.

I saw the show they did on the ENzo and the 2 sets of wheels. They said that the guy that owned the Enzo, also had a yellow one. They were not allowed to drive to car anywhere but off the truck. A lot of them were scared to touch thing... It was pretty neat.

I forgot the magazines name (this months issue). But, I'm almost positive that owner of the red Enzo & yellow Enzo also owns a BUNCH of other exotice as you may have guessed. He's 23 years old and owns some sort of music company (I think) called "C-Note Productions" (or something with the name C-Note in the name. Anyway... The kid has BIG bucks, house (HUGE) in Beverly Hills, looking to buy another one (6 mil)... bought a new Rolls (or was it a Bentley?) for $340K while doing the magazine article. He uses the Enzo as a daily driver. Nice. Anybody else see this magazine yet? I wanna say Brian Mcnight is on the cover with some girls.

The other day on the show one of the guys who works at WCC completely mispronounced "Modena" by saying "Mo-dee-na". I was not impressed...

sounds like DUB magazine, all I know is the owner is from Canada and might still live there. I saw the car at SEMA last year and the interior definitely appeared to be used :D

Are you serious, I saw them put diamond plate OVERTOP of a rusted out floorpan on a Mustang. Oh yeah, real quality work, cover it up with new metal and bondo...who cares about actually fixing it. As far as the TV shows...Chip Foose is one of the only ones on a TV show that actually fixes a car.

Nothing against the "MTV Generation," but Pimp My Ride, Funk Master Flex and all the other shows like that are "LOOK AT ME" type shows.

Pimp My Ride's moto should be: "It ain't what it is, its what it looks like it is." I have seen several shows and I agree that with an earlier post that in many of the parts and pieces the quality is not there.

Take a good look at the upholstery in several of the shows and look at the wrinkles at the corners of the leather ... doesn't quite fit, but looks good enough. Look under the car's rocker panels where the paint didn't get too and the primer shows through ... but, nobody is gonna get down on their knees and look under the car so it looks good enough.

One wonders if the engines are rebuilt and the suspension brought up to standards that make the car safe ... Heck, I thought California had strict inspection laws. Most of the crapy cars that "Pimp My Ride" works on wouldn't pass Mississippi's inspection and all Mississippi wants is the $5.00 for the cost of the sticker!

I vote against "Pimp My Ride", "Funkmaster Flex", "American Chopper", "American Hot Rod", and "Monster Garage" because one doesn't learn anything useful about anything other than spending money!

Good Lord, I have gotten old enough to have become my Father: I digress

    Best wishes

I'm part of that generation and take no offense whatsoever. I, personally, hate that type of person that has to show-off everything and spend all the money on clothes even when they are still renting. LOL

the article says he has a C-Note label for music and C-Note productions but a search on google for his company turns up nothing and a search on google for his name only turns up that article. You would think with that money and the way he name drops his business in the article there'd be something, he's even got a picture leaving a parking lot in the Enzo with TARA REID as the passenger in Celebrity Car. It's weird that there is absolutely nothing on him online but an article from a lowrider magazine. I'm curious....

i've seen they put 19'' front & 20'' rear on a 360. moreover, the front tires were Pirelli Pzero ''Rosso'' Asimmetrico & the rears were Pzero ''System'' Asimmetrico. scary, i don't need to say more...

there is always a difference between a performance tuner shop & a bling-bling-look shop!
