    Hello, my friends down under.

I'm planning to visit Australia next year, and I was wondering if I should skip or visit Mt. Connor?

It looks amazing, but not sure if it's worth the trek?

Would love to hear your opinions?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Looks like just another big rock, and hard to get to, better off just flying to Alice Springs and seeing the bigger rock there.

Save your time for the better parts of Oz, like the Great Barrier Reef

Thanks, John, I didn't know about Alice Springs - oh man - that's right dab in the center. I see your point. Thank you again for responding.

The best islands to visit are Lizard (Grouper Hole), Hayman (great service) or a day trip to Green Island (if you're into scuba/skin diving)

If you want to see huge Manta rays then Lady Elliott or Heron with Lady Elliott being the preference if time is limited

Well the usual sight seeing activity’s would be the 3 sisters lookout ( huge rock formation and great views of the blue mountains, the prince Henry walk begins here and is an 8 Kim walk there n back through established tracks with lovely vistas on the way, scenic world which is very close to the 3 sisters, (5 minutes drive) and Main Street in Katoomba for cafes and shopping. There’s so much to see here depending on your schedule, one off the beaten path a bit and one of my favourites is the old Catalina park raceway, there’s something cool about old disused race tracks [emoji16], lots to see and if you’d rather train/ walk it’s a comfortable 2 hour train ride from Sydney central station, mountain trains leave hourly. If your planning on staying the night there are some good hotels in Katoomba (Google:)
Good luck Oh and Leura Main Street has some lovely shops, pretty place worth the 10 minute car ride, or 1 stop before Katoomba

Are you trying to get Oz embarrassed ?

Katoomba is a dump .... 50 years ago you'd take your mistress there for the weekend at the Hydro but now it's a coffee stop, with terrible coffee.

If he's an oversized American he'd die on those walks through the mountains !!!!!

I was fit 3 years ago and nearly died running up the stairs from the bottom !!

Invite him around to your house and take him for a drive , but FILL UP FIRST !!! :p

Would be much more impressive than the three sisters

This is the old lookout 25 years ago ...... looks boring to me

The 3 Sisters is just to the left in this photo, .... obviously not worth seeing :p
