    Remember the 'old' days when the TX section had the 2nd highest number of posts? There was ALWAYS a conversation going on here. The last post in this section was almost 17 hours ago. We've become old and boring. Brian seldom posts here, Rob spends his time working and driving to work, Yoshi has faded, Nick is trying to be the #1 world traveler, even Big Tex-aka Speedy has calmed down.

    Ho hum.

    I'm trying to make a living and I don't have a ferrari. I keep the biz section going though with my ADD train of thought. Was just thinking how I should have bought Tom's Diablo and driven it while for sale since it was a decent price.

    I hate paperwork and sitting at a desk. So when I have to be in the office, I multitask the boring stuff with Fchat. Most of my real work is done late afternoon, evenings and weekends.

    edit - Jim, thanks for the encouragement. Maybe my ideas and opinions should be more inflammatory. I'll start insulting everyones momma and the fireworks can fly.

    Maybe you could find someone on the board to hate, then thrash them mercilessly with your rapier wit at every opportunity.

    On a more serious note, you'd be amazed. I had people' offers ranging from fleet of up to 7 family cars, note on the house, lake cabin, ocean home, IRA, 401K, kid's college funds, bonds... and some even their twin daughters (ok...that I made up). It's a STEAL for someone (but of course, it's always a steal for someone when i trade out of cars....).

    Texas has the third highest number of threads on the new board, behind only the EC gang and SoCal. Not too shabby, actually. We even beat all of Europe :D

    I wouldn't feel bad about losing out to the EC -- that section has more posts that Politics&Religion! Dunno what they have to say that takes up that much space, but there it is.

    SoCal is 74,000 threads on Crystal Cove :D
