From many miles away, I'm getting WGN on my Boob tube - any particular must-see-TV on this channel?

If your into baseball at all, most of the Chicago Cubs and Whitesox games are covered by WGN.

As luck would have it, caught 'em playing against each other after the 7th inning stretch today - Great day for a Cubs fan, misery for Sox - so many errors.

Best shot in stands was a couple of friends - one in Cubs gear, other in Sox gear, each had a pointy-finger sign that said "I'm with Stupid."

WGN has become kind of a garbage station. They used to show all 162 Cubs games, and as the first national cable channel they helped feed the national fan base. But Buffy slayed more than just vampires. Her show represented to the execs a reason to cut baseball telecasts in favor of afternoon pap. Other than the games, I never watch the station.

FYI... WGN has two seperate broadcast stations... The local on the air waves and the cable nation wide. The reason they play old reruns a lot on the cable is becasue the FCC laws. For being nation wide on cable, they are not allowed to compete with other local stations that may be covering or playing identical programs... Just put those rabbit ears back up on your TV and watch the local broadcasts....
