Ciao Today it was a great day. Early this morning I have received a telephone call from a friend of mine who is a member of a local Ferrari Club. They had organized an event for persons who are not as lucky as we are. The idea was to drive these people around the test circuit of Pirelli that is a dozen of miles away from my place. As they needed one more car, he asked if I was available at such a short notice. Yes, no problems. So at 9:30 we met near the circuit and... Here after some shots of some of the cars. By the way, the best feeling of the day was the smile of the three kids that I have driven around the track: priceless. If I will be in Italy next year, should they do this again, I asked them to give me a voice. Perhaps some more friends will join the party... Ciao Eugenio P.S. The only sad moment was when the F40 had to pull by the side with cooling problems (blown radiator...) Eugenio, great pics Do you have more of the mat black 355 challenge. I was consireing painting mine like that after seeing Jean Tod's 550. I haven't seen a 355 painted like that before so it is really interesting to see. Thanks Philip
Hello Eugenio, wonderful!!!!!!! What a wonderful idea and I`m sure the kids will never forget this day! (Thought to do/organize the same for Germany starting last year; but its sadly impossible with the German law/legal constrains). CU soooooooon Best Wolfgang
Hello Eugenio, What a wonderful idea to give the kids such a great experience with your Ferrari! I can imagine the smiles on the faces of those kids after a ride in a Ferrari! These are great pictures, Thanks a lot for sharing! Best regards Carsten
Ciao just to answer your curiosities. Yes, it was the yellow F40 that broke down. Thanks God it was only a radiator manifold, but it had to be taken home by flat bed... As far as the matt black 355 is concerned, I guess that the color was chosen to hide the several repair works related to the demanding track use of the car itself... I did not like it too much because, when closely inspected, the quality of the paintwork was, at least, poor. Due to that, no more pictures of it. Ciao Eugenio
