Last week I started a thread asking for advice regarding buying a car out of state. Several members responded with excellent advice and also offering to look at a car for me if it was in their area. I emailed a member (Davidcbrown) who had a positive post about the dealer who was selling the car I was looking at. Dave called me the same morning he received the email, and by the end of that afternoon he had been out to see the car and called me with his report. Unbelievable!

Dave also endorsed the recommendation of the dealer of a top Ferrari expert to do the PPI. The end result ...... I bought the car yesterday. My wife and I will fly out next week to Cleveland and drive the car back to Boston. I can't express how appreciative I am for the assistance of this community.

One big family it is. Would you mind disclosing the model and year?

    Congrats.

Coincidentally RVL Saratoga my wife wants to spend some time in Saratoga Springs. So Friday night we will drive to Syracuse and then get to Saratoga early in the day on Saturday. I couldn't find a hotel in Saratoga for Sat. night, so we are staying on the north side of Albany.

Congrats. I'm also starting to look at 612s. Love the color on that one. I'll have to pick your brain on your search when I get closer to getting one.

Are you coming this Saturday or next? I should warn you that a week from Saturday is Travers day: the busiest day of the racing meet.

We will be there Sat. the 17th. Oh yea, I found that out when I saw that the Marriott Courtyard in Saratoga Springs was $439 a night! For a Courtyard! Yikes! That's why we're staying closer to Albany.

Hehe, it's only $339 when you don't ask where to park the Ferrari.
