nope parked in front of my house, 5 minutes later ka boom, i put it out with a garden hose, if it would have been in my garage under the car lift, both cars would have gone and my house as well...i will NEVER park a hot car in a garage again...
Jeez. Good thing you got it out before it caught anything else. I'm sure the neighbors we out and about! So, you parked it after a drive and, boom? that's odd.
it was a small whoosh and boom, with flames 8 feet high, at night, if i didnt put it out I could have set the whole neighborhood on fire, and I dont have multi million dollar liability coverage on my cars..I will probably install sprinkers in my garages in the future..

Dear Lamborghinisti, Holy Crap Norcal ! ...glad you're OK. ....so positive thinking forward....what do you have your eye on? Diablo???? ....a real Lamborghini.....you know, where the doors go up.. Shamile Freeze....Miami Vice !
Ugggggh!! Wow. You going to the Concorso this year? Will you have something else by then? You have 4 weeks to get it done!
Well it's a trofeo car I believe so it's not the end of the world, damage looks fairly easy repairable. That's terrible, can't believe it would catch fire just like that!
Nope no Concorso for me this year, I met with the adjuster at Copart yesterday and went over the car with him, I doubt whether this will settle soon. The insurance company may hire an investigator, and that takes time, plus I want to make sure I get a decent appraisal...And yes I may get a Murcie instead of another Gallardo!
What is with exotics with rear engine? I see them get burn just like the gallardo picture. Last time it was a F430 burned down from the rear. What you cannot drive them for a long period of time, engine will get hot and just boom...burn! Please explain. My nephew has a gallardo spyder. He uses it but never get caught on fire for no reason.
Dear Lamborghinisti, Actually, before I realized he was talking about a G....I thought it was a Diablo. I've only heard of G's burning because of a lack of care at the gas station. Shamile Freeze....Miami Vice !
Designers can veto what the engineer thinks . ''this is-a the car how I want it-a to be-e...I don like-a the bieg hole for di cooling, this is how the car-a will go on sale-uh''.
