I just finished a marathon "Make my Ferrari look better than new". I am finished, and all my supplies laying out, and I realized I have not done one thing to the glass. Do I need to?
I can do whatever it takes. Is there anything worthwhile. The car is only 6 months old.
    Thanks!!

LOL @ the 'marathon'!!! You can clay the glass as well as use a dedicated glass polish on a machine to really 'clean' it and remove any road film/water spots/etc. Then use your choice of glass cleaner and a dedicated microfiber glass towel. All done...and it would be in keeping with your 'marathon' theme!

    Have fun!

Stoners glass cleaner, microfiber, clean inside one way ( vertical or horizontal) and clean the outside the opposite way. That way you can tell where any remaining streaks are.

After cleaning, a glass sealant would help keep it looking great and make the next cleaning easier.

That guy is very competent, but the jackett zipper rattling and getting so close to the car at ~3:00 made me cringe.

The bottom part of the zippers are rubber, wouldn't do anything.

I second Scott. You can polish the glass and I like to use Griot's glass polish with their applicator pad. You can do this by hand. Your glass will look awesome, but remember any tiny pits will also pop out a little. Nothing like a crystal clear car glass.

For daily maintanance, I use Invisible Glass spray. You can even get it at Walmart. No detergents, so it actually cleans your glass. Clean inside up and down and outside left to right.

This way you can fix any streaks in case you are chasing any.

Thank you for the link. I can usually make a car look really good but getting the glass right is tough for me.

    I would strongly recommend Clearplex

(if you're like me and drive your car all the time)

Or even if you don't it's a good idea for anyone, I drive to Vegas every month so for me it's perfect !

You don't even know it's on the window it works like clear bra.

Of course I have no connection with these people other than I love the product :)

    Cheers,

    Bill

Have you had to use the wipers? I was wondering about this product but am not sure if wipers will scratch it.
