Just got my "04 360 F1 Spider off the truck tonight, drove it into my garage, and now it won't start (engine won't turnover), Dash indicated "Check OK", when I put the key in. Hooked up battery tender and solid green light came on, there is no play in the brake pedal, when I push down hard, the engine attempts to start but won't, The F1 transmission light stays lit on the dash, while I try to start....Any idea's??

Charge the battery. Also make sure it's in neutral.

Most likely, the battery needs charging.

Just a guess, but it could be a problem getting the alarm disarmed properly. Try a search on FChat for procedure, tips and tricks or contact the dealer/person you purchased the vehicle from. The correct procedure could also be in the books provided with the vehicle. Good luck!

Just a crazy thought, but you sure you pulled back on both F1 paddles and put it in neutral first? Also, make sure that the alarm is disengaged.
Let us know when you find the fix what the problem was.

Ok...After a very long, SLEEPLESS night, I woke up to have the car start, after a couple of attempts. It still had the F1 tranny light on, I engaged it 1st gear, moved it a foot in the garage, reversed it another foot, and the light went off???? Maybe it was the battery. My next question, is what others have posed....Is there a foolproof way to KNOW when the car is ready to start, ie the car alarm, key fob?? It seems whenever I go to start it ( from the "01 that I had), that it never starts until I hit the key fob another time or 2...Is there any other way to know when it is ready to turn the key??, Thanks for all who answered earlier

i believe two beeps from the alarm system means it's ready to go and you have to start it within a certain time or else it reverts to no start mode.

insert key in ignition, turn on, press remote button (led light goes out) and then start car is generally a foolproof way of doing it. but glad u've got it sorted.
