The only ones I've been able to figure out are the 488 replacement, and the mid-rear V8 hybrid above that, plus the FUV (But that may be on hold).

I know right? I guess the Monza counts, maybe as 2. Maybe Pista Piloti, Pista spider.
Maybe they are counting variations of 812 like 812 spider, 812M etc

    488 Replacement Special
    488 (Higher Performance Variant)
    488 (Higher Performance Variant Spyder)
    488 (Higher Performance Special)
    ------------------
    Purosangue
    Purosangue Special
    Portofino Update (ala California t)

so let me ask this how many is enough I know everyone that buys the Monza is thinking they are worth more then they pay but 500 $1.5million cars is a lot ...then all these new models they can't all go up in value and of course the F12TDF are still selling for over $1million .. and the pista and now the special pista and the 812 conv.... etc etc...
of course the regular production cars will continue but at what point is enough enough ...

I'm certainly sympathetic, but I think it's a function of two things. One is the Agnelli family voted their sentiments by crowning Marchoine (may he rest in peace) and his plans for IPO over Montezemolo "Ferrari will be capped at 7,000 a year."

Love or hate it, Ferrari has shareholders now...and growth is king in that world. You can't start charging double or triple for the next 488, so all that expansion has to come from somewhere.

The second thing is HNWI is double what it was just 10 years ago. Hard to turn down willing money that is ready to be handed over for products not even created yet.

Ferrari will be in my opinion more Porsche like in the coming years (for better and worse)

Oh I agree but my comment is more based on all the buyers that buy all these special editions then flip them for double or triple what they paid for it once the secondary market collapses which it will then the market for all these special editions and Icona markets will fall.. and I understand there are many more HNWI but not all of them want a car... .. these special editions are created just to fore people to purchase more cars .. but I think if they just opened the markets up they could sell a heck of a lot more cars .. but they play so many games with the buyers buy this car and I will let you buy that car etc...

I think they keep close tabs on who has the 'privlidge' to buy these bespoke cars right? If you ''flip" you are less likely to be selected again?

I don't know, im way too low on the food chain.

    :)
