    After Jamilla, 26, who works at an arts college in Georgia, got engaged to her boyfriend, a student, they moved in with his parents to save money for the wedding. A potential disaster? Turns out it was his Internet obsession that brought things to the breaking point. "He surfs on the computer all the time, checking out classic cars and motorcycles," she says. "It takes away from time we could be spending together, not to mention time from his schoolwork." Things got so tense that the two went into couples counseling, a move that's helped them work it out.



    I understand the situation, but fail to see the problem.

    Maybe the girlfriend is illiterate and jealous?

    For the record, my girlfriend will joke about it, but I seriously doubt she has a big problem with my internet time since I include her in what I'm doing and we've gone to some pretty cool places and met some neat people in the process.

    "Someone" isn't working hard enough if the "internet" is more interesting than they are.

    The problem is not with the "internet".
