And, to better explain, I mean a REALLY nice one. Prefer early cars, with leather, and very clean, or a later car that has been sorted to remove the late year reduced HP. Do you know of any very clean cars for sale?

Oh, and to intro myself. I am a serial car nut currently w/o a foriegn sports car to enjoy. Have owned 69-71 911s's, 938S4 5 speed, 914/6's, currently a 1995 S351R Saleen, 1966 ex race fire breathing Shelby GT350, a couple of 1995 M3's ( my sons drive those ...and they are away at college.....darn) 1969 Boss 302, 2003 M3 ( wife will not let me have the keys) and a Lincoln Aviator every day. So, I truly have a car problem, but I fully regret selling my superb 1995 wine red 308GT4. Any help and or advice will be appreciated.

    Thank you. Happy Holidays.

I'm guessing you meant to type "1975 308GT4". You are going to get all kinds of answers here. The very best cars often trade quietly and privately. My guess (and its only a guess) is that the very best cars will bring in the mid $30's.
There is a big interest in the GT4 lately, and I personally know of 3 that are undergoing rotisserie restorations at this minute. The yellow/black one that was recently on ebay had an unbelievable amount of $$ invested in it to get it into top condition.

    FWIW, YMMV

I think that is fairly accurate as far as a price point goes...I agree that the love for this model is starting to grow. It is a really cool car, even for those of us who own other types of Ferrari's.

I did mean to type 1975...thank you! Yes, this helps a lot. I have been seeing mid 30's ...and that is up from when I sold mine.,..so I was just making sure that this is in the current relm of reality! Thank you all very much..oh thet yellow one seems to be a very nice car for just under the market for a total mechanical rebuild.

When I bought my GT4, a good friend always said...that the GT4's were the best driving 308. I had never driven a GTB or GTS so I had nothing to compare to....but an avid ferrai racer agreed...so I have always thought a lot of the cars even though..most of the ferrari fans did not. maybe that is changing. Oh, one cool thing..my oldest son...now 22, will always be able to say that he learned how to drive a clutch car....on a Ferrari! That clutch was so smooth! Be well, and thanks again. Dan

I know of one that sold for allot more than mid 30's recently. The top end is starting to climb.

And don't for one second think of importing a car from Europe. Prices here are much higher.

I bought mine 4 years ago for $45K and went on to spend another $20K on her to make her top notch...

Since I'll never sell her, that doesn't matter :D
