I HEARD SOMETHING GOOD, SOMETHING INCREDIBLE! THE BEST SOUND FOR THIS YEAR I HEARD: FERRARI VICTORY, FORZA FERRARI
Yes he did. Scratchy, but melodic and emotional. Check out the show Classic Albums on VH1 Classic. They cover the making of the Nevermind LP and show how they fused his voice and the music together. I believe you can buy the DVD at Best Buy as well. Where did they play an all acoustic show? I saw them a few weeks ago with Velvet Revolver, they were great. I should recommend you check out their Unplugged CD and DVD's. If you liked what you saw, you won't be disappointed in both of those. Plus you get Layne Staley's truly one-of-a-kind amazing vocals. AIC's new front man is a great replacement, but he'll never replace Layne.
i saw them at the blue note in columbia, mo. like i said, i wasn't a fan up until that show, and after having heard layne staley's versions of the songs, i have come to the conclusion that the guy they had doing lead vocals did a pretty good job, but it's definitely not the same.
A lot of times, you don't realize you're a fan of a certain band or style until you hear it acoustically. At least for me. For instance, I'm not really a fan of Coheed and Cambria. But I love them acoustically. Their song 'Welcome Home' is probably my favorite. It's probably too late, but if you ever have a chance to see Aaron Lewis of Staind go see him. Just him and a guitar. One of the best shows I've ever been to. I remember when I was 16 or 17, I had left my AIC Unplugged playing in my truck. My mom went to move my truck the next morning. Later that day she tells me, "I'm not sure what you were listening to, but I liked it." I just started laughing.
haha, cool story, about coheed, once again, i'm not a huge fan, the only song i've liked of theirs has been welcome home. i first got hooked on it after hearing the accoustic version on mtv, but i have to be honest, you need electronics to get the full impact of that song. eminem: mosh
Have you seen Eraserhead ? What do you think ? I know that Lynch's participation for dream and it's expression play vary important role in his works but didn't he go too far with that movie ? P.S. My favoritre director - KUBRICK !!!
