Nor have I! Fade Into You is one of my favorite songs. Does anybody know if they are still around? They've been quiet for a few years.
I think the latest CD I have of Mazzy Star is from 1999, can't remember which one though,....."She Hangs Brightly"? I'll check when I get home. I've been finding them at used CD stores. They don't seem to be very mainstream in the new stores. Much like the Junkies. DJ
Wow, I remember listening to fade into you. From what I recall, the rest of the cd wasn't too good. --Dan
Lyle Lovett was GREAT in Jones Hall last week! I just blasted thru downtown Houston, windows down, to pick up Handel's Messiah Symphony Chorus tickets. But I think I'll give 'em to my girlfriend's son. Keep him away for a while. Then later, we'll head down to catch Jesse Dayton at the Continental Club on South Main, for some "Tall Texas Tales" Lyle "My Baby Don't Tolerate" Kelly Willis/Bruce Robison "Christmas Special" (Signed by the artists) Delbert Mc Clinton "Live" Happy Holidays!
I agree, the rest of the CD, 'So Tonight That I might See'(?) was wanting unless, possibly, the listener was under the influence. The later CD, 'She Hangs Brightly' is an improvement. DJ

While puttering around the house I dug into some old vinyl. Jethro Tull: Too Old To Rock and Roll, Too Young To Die. .......And some of them own little sports cars and meet at the tennis club "do's". For drinks on Sunday- work on Monday They've thrown away their blue suede shoes. And as he flies-tears in his eyes-his wind-whipped words echo the final take. As he hits the trunk road doing around 120 with no room left to brake And he was too old to Rock 'n' Roll And he was too young to die. Image Unavailable, Please Login
More vinyl: Triumvarate; Spartacus The Sweetest Sound Of Liberty It was shortly after nine When they started a new time Blood was flowing In the gladiator's school Things were perfect, things were cool Faith was around When the news is spread around Freedom is the sweetest sound You can hear And the hero of them all "Spartacus!" you hear them call "Where do we go?" Dreaming of freedom is easy to do You have to fight and win but never lose From the nearby hills and woods Men and women join the troop Without fear And the hero of them all "Spartacus!" you hear them call "Where are we going?" When the Roman soldiers come We will soon be on the run Heaven knows Dreaming of freedom is easy to do You have to fight and win but never lose Building a new world where hate is unknown A good kind of people with rules of their own. best of black sabbath( OZZY STUFF) and, stevie ray vaughn box set. I like the guitar parts so its " fun " to listen to and play at the same time.
LOL, I decided to bust out So Tonight... at work yesterday with the headphones, and I almost passed out! I forgot how s l o w the cd was. Love her voice, though!
My new Police box set...excellent! Many people need yet to discover that the Police were more than Roxanne, Don't Stand So Close to Me, Canary In a Coal Mine, etc. The obscure stuff is my fav.
Right this instant.. Marilyn Manson - Use Your Fist and Not Your Mouth off the Golden Age of Grotesque album Talking on the phone with g/f.. Packaging up Jordan's camera bag in a box at work and finding directions to the nearest Post Office.
