Nice! I've got a biz trip and presentation coming up, so I've been psyching myself up with RATM.

So, is Beady Eye just Oasis without Noel? I tried listening to 2 or 3 of their songs on YouTube, but nothing on a par with Oasis that I've heard yet...T

I drove to a different base for a week. Weirdly I'm digging some older country I first got into, and of course some Johnny C.

Also, the desert may be making me crazy(ier) and I've been rocking the "Drive" soundtrack too, there's some cool stuff on there.

Ps. For anyone that saw "Interstellar", am I the only one enraptured by the main theme?? Almost like Explosions in the Sky-esque...

Yea, guess I should've prefaced "old" lol, I really like Dierks Bentley, Brantley Gilbert, Allen Jackson, Tim McGraw, Eric Church etc. A lot of their early songs are great, and relaxing. Now, I understand most would say, ummmmm, "old"? Haha, but to me, @ 29, it is what it is

Ran some errands, and was about to pull into driveway when Gimme Shelter came on radio. Decided that I needed a victory lap around the block, so I could rock out to the Stones & Merry Clayton @ max volume!

Yea, that's not old. Tim McGraw and allen jackson you can classify as old country though. Country began shifting to pop around 96 imo.

Ugh....Eric church. Just can't understand the love affair of that guy. Seen him at the rodeo and my friends all love him. I just fail to see it.
