What are you listening to...?

Right now I'm sitting on the rooftop pool ( no smoking ) at the Contessa in San Antonio smoking a cigar and listening to Chris Cornell on Pandora. It should provide some great shizzle. Let's see.

 

PBS special 'Slowhand at 70 - Live at Royal Albert Hall' - Still an amazing and energetic musician.

Saw him ( + KWS, and Robert Randolph &TFB) in early 2000s in DC and it is still one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

Octovarium by Dream Theater. They're arguably one of the most talented groups in history, probably up there with Rush as my top two in terms of talent. Starts out slowly, but starts to get into gear about 12 minutes into the song. If that's too slow (or long) check out another song by them called Panic Attack. Lol

 

Thanks. I like trying new foods, music, etc. So, even though I tend to gravitate to old school rock, I like music in general. Hence, I try to listen to as many of the songs posted here as I can. Many are not of my taste, but a couple have been quite good. What's really odd is that I've been on a Mariah Carey kick lately. I'm not sure how that happened. 😁

Cool, cool. I used to mostly listen to classic rock but the station here in Raleigh pretty much played a continuous loop of the same songs over and over and I got tired of hearing the same songs over and over. So I started listening to modern rock and alternative, plus a little rap and pop, and that's basically what I've been listening to for a while now.

The food really is pretty f' n good. It's definitely on the go to list. It's fun with a group. I grew up in Tampa so it was always a treat to eat there. The key is to get a larger steak and share it versus each getting their own. I personally love aged meat. Some folks not so much. Come visit and I'll take you there. Ps let's bring Ken too.

Yes, Sevendust is very good. Animosity is probably my favorite of their albums, but I haven't heard all of their stuff.
