Kirk, blasted some Superunknown (found that CD buried in a stack behind Warren Zevon and a 'Best of the 90's' mix CD in this tiny office off of the main airplane hanger I sleep in) Put that **** on 11 and rocked a Gurkha Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great pic bro , looks like you duffers got stuck in the sand trap. Nice cigars , and please tell the rest of the gang thanks for their service. Stay safe bro. Stateside soon right ? Ps . You might just wash that rig , you guys are riding dirty.
Limbaugh just opened a segment with this guitar line: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AA64eCt2zs[/ame] I used love this album.
Interesting I was just going to say I'm listening to Dire Straits. 80's on 8 Serious XM was playing money for nothing. The DJ mentioned Sting did some of the vocals on the song and wrote a line or two. I never knew Sting was involved, so dug up my CD and have been re-listening and now hear Sting. Next I'm going to get some Police and listen to them tonight.
Here's one from a Aussie favorite of mine. Good driving song. Turn it UP. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBxudU1DNik Dave
"Everyday Normal Guy 2" by Jon Lajoie. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who can manage to cram in the line "saving up my money to go buy a new dishwasher" is a genius.
Didn't you have a link? I must have listened to Everyday Normal Guy 1 100x's when it first came out. Hilarious.
Sorry, I'm usually on Spotify so I don't have any links handy. I'll try to post links to YouTube from now on. Here's the link to Everyday Normal Guy 2. I think it is actually better than the first one.... "I'm just a regular everyday normal motherf*cker....when I got nothing to say I usually talk about the weather" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmG4X9PGOXs Today it's "Alternative Radio" by Spose (he's kind of similar to Jon Lajoie). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-DdXRBFhCg
A virtually unknown band outside of Canada. Only real claim to fame in the U.S. was having their song Eyes of a Stranger featured on Miami Vice and a few American Bandstand with Dick Clark appearances. Believe the song also made the Miami Vice soundtrack album. The singer was my uncles best friend in high school. The band is the Payolas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FOf-E-WRKo One of the band co-founders went on to become a record producer. Producing most of Metallicas albums.
My fault guys, I know the song and where to find it, I just thought you had posted a youtube link originally and then removed it. That's why I was confused and asked if you had posted a link originally.
Understood. Jason if you like that song, you should check out WTF Collective by Jon Lajoie. It is even better than Everyday Normal Guy 2 because he takes on like 10 different personalities including MC Confusing, MC Insecure, MC Public Urination, MC Lethal Weapon One Two and Three, and MC Lethal Weapon 4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AE4zF36dPxE
Waiting for them to clean the wife's car. This is playing in the dealership. Bee Gees before disco. http://youtu.be/pTQiT58AbE0 Love this song...T
Today at the beach it's Smashing Pumpkins day. 7 albums on the mix. At this moment it's Drown , on the Gish deluxe edition.
That first sentence may be the funniest thing I've read on F-chat in a long while! What Kirk said, thanks & stay safe...T
Grooving to pre-disco The Brothers Gibb. http://youtu.be/FSTvEhp64Lo http://youtu.be/AjbVNNXjOzk http://youtu.be/_hQ1HQh9_JM T
Today is classic punk day. So its Dayglo Abortion, DOA, and Young Canadians. Due to very bad language via song titles and lyrics. I wont post links. But they are on YouTube.
This is used in a Ford commercial. I love the guitar line: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fr46FKbT2Ig[/ame]
One of the few electronica bands I can stand. Holy Fword. They used one of their songs on the show Breaking Bad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rYZvhqo394 The thing I like about them is they don't use computers or any modern technology for their music. Its all live instruments and other items as sound effects. Its real talent.
