"Renegade Runaway" by Carrie Underwood. I would really like to see her get a chance to perform during halftime of one of the next Super Bowls. There'd be almost no chance of a disappointment. Wonder if she'll ever get a chance to play...
She does a great job opening Sunday Night Football. She'd be a heck of a lot better than the folks they had in February...T
She is very classy, and her voice sounds like it could shatter glass. I can't imagine how 'Jesus Take The Wheel' would sound live....I might shed a tear or two. Unfortunately for her, (I don't want to turn this into a political argument) she is pretty conservative whereas the NFL is not, and I'm not sure they want an artist who doesn't fit into the current pop music mold to host the halftime show.
Sevendust, so underrated. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy17DWrjNT0[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpP0b_CQQi4[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2m-rD2ZD1s[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGUflZS7jG0[/ame]
"The Sex Is Good" by Saving Abel. I remember when this came out, it got played all the time, now I don't ever hear it anymore
RIP Prince!!! A few things said on the news. One thing he was very gifted on several instruments, not just guitar, piano as well. drums, etc. He also wrote songs for other artist under different names, like Sugar Walls for Sheena Easton and I was surprised to learn Manic Monday for the Bangles. I wasn't a fan in the sense of buying albums or going to concerts. But do remember enjoying his songs on the radio and seeing Purple Rain in the theaters with a date.
Ditto. Currently listening to "Head Over Heels" by The Go-Gos. For some reason I kinda like this song.
"Halocene" Bon Iver (it's bedtime lol) But earlier, I was enjoying some new Atreyu and reminiscing with a 2002 Warped Tour video on YouTube, so nostalgic. Bad Religion, NOFX, Flogging Molly, NFG...
I'm on Stone Temple Pilots with the help of Pandora at the beach , headphones , cigar and Fcar in tow.
No bro , but later there is gonna be a Big Bang Baby it's a Sex Type Thing . You getting the vibe my man ?

Been on a George Harrison kick. Listening to the Concert for Bangladesh. This was a nice ditty, Harrison with Dylan. http://youtu.be/tctzUNMp5po T
Well played, Mr. Gregg. Interestingly, Got My Mind Set on You, is on this album. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_Nine_(George_Harrison_album) I thought he did that with Traveling Wilbury's. Huh. Learn something new every day. Man, George Harrison, he went way too soon. He was a great singer & a beautiful person...T
Amen to that brother, he was/is my favorite Beatle and he was a huge F1 fan as well. I purchased Cloud Nine shortly after its release in '87 and burned through 3 cassettes within one year cruising with my buddy Bret in his '82 Collectors Edition Corvette...Good Times and Great Music!
I think on the last album the Travelling Wilbury's released they credited a song or something to Aryton Wilbury in Senna's memory and also as a pseudonym for George Harrisons son. Safe bet his family was/is F1 fans.
