Still love this old album. Played this song in my first recital at Berklee in... Jesus H. Rodriguez, 1980.
I had this album in my slightly younger days. It was really cool when you would open it up and the band would "pop" out!
These look like the kind of girls my grandma warned me about. And, therefore, did my best to meet! Lotaz - do they play Vegas often? T
Don't feel bad I am trying to get my bearings around here myself as I have only been in the Lewisville area for a little over a month. About the only places I know right now is where some of our other company stores are in the area and the BK across the street from the Lewisville store.
Haha. Welcome to Big D! If you need good food recommendations, hit me up. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones The Impression That I Get T
This is one of those songs that takes me back to a certain episode in my life. Love it or hate it, it's a brilliant ballad. This is the album cut, not the shorter radio version. The radio version sounds kind of hard hearted, but this one feels like the guy is in denial.
I haven't seen any Vegas dates for them lately. I saw them last summer at a place called Vamps and a few years before at the Green Valley Resort.
Saw Halestorm and Pretty Reckless in UT a few years back and Lizzy blew away Taylor with her powerful vocals it was no contest at all. I remember the first time I heard Halestorm and was thinking "Wow this chick can sing!"
36 years since this metal classic dropped am they are still solid in concert. This one is from US Fest in San Bernadino in 83 I was practicing motocross at the track near by and could hear bands performing from the pits.
They're both great singers in their own ways. Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara is another great rocker chick if you like those kind of vocals. She sounds like a mix between Kurt Cobain and Janis Joplin.
