What Are you making for Sundays game?
Jen and I have decided to just watch the game ourselves this year so I have a small menu: 1) BBQ'd ribs (trying a new recipe that sounds incredible) 2) "Oven fried" chicken fingers 3) Chips/salsa 4) Quesadillas 5) Popcorn Mark
Buffalo chicken dip ! a couple cans of canned chicken (kinda like the tuna stuff) a cup of ranch dressing , cup of mayo , cup of shredded cheese , cup of blue cheese dressing , mix up , add in hot sauce (to how hot you may think you want it , I use 3/4 cup or so) , pop in oven for 15 minutes at 350 then serve with chips or on bread either warm or chilled.

http://www.epicurious.com/articlesguides/blogs/editor/2011/06/myron-mixons-prize-winning-st-louis-ribs.html I got this guy's book a little while ago and have been itching to try out some of his recipes. I have already made his rubs/sauces/glazes and with just sticking my finger in, they all taste pretty good. It's pretty cool that you can actually taste multiple layers of flavor in the sauces. Mark
Really? Woa ! Doing two types of chili I am growing some ghost chili's so one will be extra hot. Corn Bread Hot Wings fresh salsa and guacamole w blue chips maybe some prawns on the BBQ stuffed jalapeno peppers
Everything here sounds awesome, but I'm making a run up the street to KFC for a large bucket of original recipe and a bunch of sides Been cooking a ton lately so want a break, and have had a hankering for good old fried chicken. Also want to try their new "sauceless" wings. Anyone try Tabasco's new "Buffalo Style" sauce? http://www.tabasco.com/tabasco-products/sauces/tabasco-buffalo-style-hot-sauce/
Chili finished and I found out my teenage son and friend raided the pot while I was out at the store!
damn, those look GREAT! I saved that recipe for future reference. We're currently in a KFC/beer/hot homemade dark chocolate brownie a la mode (topped with Kopp's burgundy cherry custard) coma. Even a shot of Jaeger, our go-to digestivo, is having a tough time working it's magic. :/
Thank you Kurt, they really were very good. Following that recipe was kind of a pain in the ass, but it was worth it. However, I don't know if I'd follow it exactly again if I'm only cooking for only myself (my wife is less than human, she's a vegetarian). I probably could leave out a few steps and still be more than happy with the end product. Mark
:O no, really :O Wow, her pluses must REALLY be awesome! Give it a try a with a block of tofu next time?
