The Boyd book is fantastic! Need to read that again. The OODA loop is the most significant original concept dealing with decision making written in the past 100 years.

That man was a genuis. If possible read his two monographs:

Destruction and Creation
Patterns of Conflict

and then try to go thru his recommended book list at the end of the biography.
