It's been for sale on eBay Motors for a while now. (If it has been discussed previously, please forgive me.) It doesn't look to be damaged too badly, but I am not an expert on these cars. It seems like at $60K, someone could take it and make it into a nice driver that he or she wouldn't have to worry about too much. What am I missing?

I think it doesn't look that bad, maximum $10.000 to fix it. Given the low price I think it is worth to consider, car looks clean from inside / outside except the carpet missing on the passenger side - probably after removing the battery (if located there). Should be inspected but it can be a good buy IMO at this level of price.

Probably $8K-10K in factory parts, just for the rear quarter and carpet, plus labor and paint, so more like $20-30K, now you're at $80-90K+ for a salvage title 575M. And that's assuming it's just cosmetic. Structural damage under that quarter panel would change the deal.

No photos inside the trunk, and no low shots from the rear that could tell you about what else might be wrong. Just because "it drives" doesn't mean it drives right.

Toss in that you'll probably want to do a major, after all there's no idea of when the last one was performed, now you're approaching $30K before any surprises. ON A SALVAGE TITLE CAR. Now, if you're keeping it forever, that might not become an issue. And the fact that you'd have the repair records might make it a little easier to sell later, but still not easy.

    I'd pass.

What's a clean one go for?

On the surface, that repair would not be over $14-$16K assuming no serious suspension/mechanical damage. Hell, Bo Pirkle could knock that out in a weekend! What kills the deal is the salvage title....they totaled this car for that level of damage?

It's been discussed before but what concerns me is the fact that the bottom "matte black" part is already painted gloss so maybe it's been in an accident before this one as well.

The front left wheel is off of a 360 modena so that's likely where the impact was made. All the lower skirts on that side seem dinged up and the exhaust tips aren't aligned so I would assume undercarriage damage.

I'd budget $25-30k to repair it properly. All that aside the car looks to be in great shape and if you could get it for $50k it would be a great driver that you could get presentable for $10-15k and spend the rest as you accumulate used replacement parts.

I paid for a PPI of this car several weeks ago. Seems this car either hopped a curb or went soil sampling. Both driver side suspension arms front and rear are bent and rear shock is bent, exhaust system is off its mounts. The fear quarter panel is is not easily accessible from inside. I passed thinking it will be an $80k salvage car when back on the road. BTW left front brake caliper shows a fairly serious ding meaning it may have lost a wheel while in motion so possible cause of all the under side damage?
