Suggested sending the Elmer. Thx for the advice.
Ermahgerd that Hirsch LE is soooooo good. One of the smoothest mid 120s proof bourbons I've ever had, almost Antique Collection level ... it 's the anti throat violating Booker's of the whiskey world. Grab one if you find it.
Picked up a few things for thanksgiving. I loved the last Offerman edition Lagavulin and am excited to try the latest edition Image Unavailable, Please Login
I picked this up today…hoping the TN whiskey (probably Dickel) isn’t overpowering. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Bidding farewell to a coworker. Usually these are an "aw gonna miss ya buddy" but.....yeah not always. Maybe this one's more of "we wanna make sure" lol. Michter's 10 was on the list so....that's what i went with. Image Unavailable, Please Login

If any of you are curious, I’d rank them as: 1: Original Blantons 2: Blantons Black 3: Blantons Red In fairness I drank them in order of original, red, black. I loved original. I didn’t like Red. Black was better. I didn’t do a back-to-back of original to black. I drank a lot of Original.
Amazing!! Jealous- Whats the price point spread across the three? He'll we have a hard time finding/getting original here- Much less the others- Awesome
That’s a lot of fun. The only red and black I ever had, I gave away so didn’t get to try them. I’ve heard similar though that people prefer the original or the Straight From the Barrel. JK

Awesome- I thought I knew Blantons but had no idea there were three variations- Good to know- - Thanks for sharing- Cheers
I'm one of those weirdos that loves Blantons Red. I'm in an incredibly fortunate situation in that I have a friend stationed in Japan right now, so he can get it for me at $50/bottle (or thereabouts, varies ever so slightly with exchange rates and other factors like "local protection taxes to pay"). He's moving back to the states in the summer (and I know he has a handful of bottles for me already) but I suspect I'll be needing to make it last after that.
I certainly know and understand the hype around Michter's 10 yr both bourbon and rye. Totally different world than the "standard" offerings that's for sure.
Ok- I get it- Wow- Tried tonight based on this post- Very impressive- Cheers Image Unavailable, Please Login
