    Just discovered that my 1980 400i may be needing brake pads.. have ATE calipers..ferodo pads..I don't know the pad part # without raising the car ect.ect..what pads do you folks like?...part#(s) would be very helpful..also..caliper #'s are..front is model#2M4-42..rear is model#2L4-34....thank you in advance...Jacques...over...

    I put EBC Greenstuff on my 400 recently, but have found them to be very noisy - see the thread about issues with a 365 GT4.

    Thanks for theheads up on the EBC Greenstuff..I had just ordered Red Stuff beacuse I learned tha Red is softer and better on the rotors..hover..that being said..I cancelled because thy're 6-12 weeks out...found Porterfields in stock..will be here We-02-26..if you want the part #s contact me then..total price frnt and back..$150..srew the middlemen $400plus..you are very welcome..and thank you so much...Jacques..over..
