What im getting at is how old were you when you got your first F car?
I don't have one "yet", but then again, I'm only 18.

I got the family and the rest of the rat race things going first (education, bought a house, family, started a business, etc...). Just got the Ferrari last year when I was 37. the Ferrari was not a standing goal, but rather one that came up as I saw the prices of TR's being very attractive. Ended up with a 348 but was considering many other models.

I had the wife, the house, thriving practice and a baby that was one when I got my first Ferrari at age 38. It was a 308 GTSi.

I had all the family obligations taken care of first. Married, kids, house, family vehicle, and then the toy came. You should never buy a luxury item like a Ferrari before you own a house. Oh yeah, and I bought my 348 when I was 32.

No rugrats here, thank doG. Those things are EXPENSIVE

Young is a good time to get a sportscar. They're not necessarily expensive -- think 308 or Lotus or 911.

In order: Career, wife, house, business, child, 348. It is probably noteworthy that the 348 came three weeks after our baby girl. I felt like I aged 10 years the first couple of weeks after her birth (sleep deprivation), so the 348 was the natural prescription to get those 10 years back!

Career, house, wife, family, still waiting on the Fcar. I could afford some Ferrari models. I all ready have a sports car that is in the same price arena at a 308. Unfortunately those models don't float my boat. So I wait until I can afford a 60's model V12.

    Good taste, Erich!

For me, cars, career, more cars, marriage, house, more cars, kids, then Fcar at age 36. Most of those cars were cheaper British and Italian, with one oddball French thrown in.

It took 11 months to find the right Ferrari. Next up, a wife, which I'm guessing could take at least 8-9 months.
