Loving my FF and buying from another member was the best choice. Car is rock solid but it only came with one key. I've gotten a second key now but whoever bought this extremely optioned car wanted to keep some keepsakes before selling it it seems. So what came with the car? I don't have any of it, not even the owners manual or case. Some things I don't need to get but if there's neat things I might enquire into getting them.

    Thanks

Owners manual, a very nice leather pouch, 2 keys with tracker fobs, car cover, trickle charger, detailing kit, belt assist covers hidden under the seats.....

    Nothing fancy for me anyway

That's a pet peeve of mine, people who sell their car and hold back original equipment/accessories. I remember someone on here sold his Ferrari and then separately posted on here his cover and battery tender. A very low rent move imo. It's one thing if someone keeps add on's like upgraded exhaust, but not what originally came with the car.

I'm the 4th owner at this point (I think) so not passing blame on any of the previous owners because who knows. But I've truly never bought a car used that didn't have the owners manual and manual pouch in the glovebox before. Missing keys I understand, but I'd have loved the car cover for longer term garage storage.

I can never understand the rationale of retaining the spare key as a keepsake. To program an extra one is not that easy. When I had that done, the closest dealer at 350 miles away was unable to get the brand new blank key to take the programming. The 2nd closest dealer at 450 miles away nearly wasn't able to, as they had told me afterward. Luckily, the 2nd dealer was on the way of a conference I was attending so I didn't have to make a special trip just for it. I would have gladly exchanged the brand new blank key for the spare from the previous owner.

    What is this?

    My attempt at humour.

I was talking about the plastic shiny bits that always fall off.

Yeah I agree, unless the key is lost there should be no reason to keep it. I have a brand new blank I gotta take to a locksmith to program as well now.

    FWIW, I understood :)

And as an update, I ordered the owner's manual and cover from Wide World of Ferrari the other day, 300$ but really wanted it.

Where do people keep their owner's manual? It takes up the whole glove box. There is no trunk pocket. You can't fit it in the middle console. Does everyone keep it at home or is there a place inside the car to store it?

At home, in my office where I can look at it. Weight consideration for the FF.

Quoting you wasn't a dig on you or your decision to purchase it. It was a genuine question where people store them and, looking back, probably could have asked without quoting you. For example, Audi's RS4 had a spot specifically under the steering wheel where the manual was stored. Wasn't sure if I was missing something.

Oh no worries, I just want a spot for maintenance records. I don't really keep anything in my glove box otherwise

I keep it at home, but I downloaded the manual onto my phone in case I do have to reference something while I'm on the road.
