So... what meal (including at least a beverage and an entree) can you put together for $1 or less? Perhaps not "fine dining," but my entry is certainly not too shabby... 1/3 of a 1 lb bag of breaded calamari rings (bag cost $1) = 33 cents 1/3 of a lemon (lemons 20 cents each) = 7 cents 1 12 oz beer served ice cold (MGD @ $6/12) = 50 cents Total cost = 90 cents. And, lots of ideas for this thread... Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich with a glass of cold milk. Can of Tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich Quesadillas and some taco sauce (steal Taco sauce from Taco Bell or something like that) Buy a block of Velvetta for about $6.00, cut it into cubes. Get a bag of tortilla chips, and throw some chips on a plate, and some cheese on top, throw it in the microwave. I'm a college student, and I eat poorly.
Please....soon the government will start charging the intake of oxygen, and then everyone is screwed.

Wrong, Wrong, True. It is now a McDouble for $1. Double Cheeseburgers are NLA on the dollar menu. I learned the hard way, haha.
12 inch pizza. I work at a restaurant and I am the pizza cook and just happen to always "mess" up on one so I bring it home.
...& don't forget the cost of whatever is powering what you are cooking, last time I checked that's not free.
