- Play the Piano - Speak Chinese , Russian and Italian fluently - Krav Maga - Make a lot of money in very little time
Oh so much! Play the guitar for one. Fly a plane Surf...probably could, just never tried..grew up in the midwest makes that tough race car driver...F1 preffered of course would like to be handy around the house (build a house from ground up) Would like to be more mechanically inclined (I'm o.k, would like to be better) Think that's it
Weld. (Working on this one currently) Drive well enough on the track not to embarass myself (very slowly working on this one) Play to piano well (gave up on this one after a few years of fruitless lessons... I can play anything brass, but nothing that requires each hand to do something different... so this lets out both piano and guitar.) Bill
I can already do plumbing, spent a miserable summer in college doing it. I'd LIKE to be able to: -Fix anything on a car. Rebuild an engine/transmission/suspension/whatever. Do custom bodywork and paint. -Play piano. I took lessons for years as a kid and hated it. -Do woodwork. I love the sound of a power saw. I own a few too, but can't do anything over minor stuff. -Fly like Superman. Think of all the time I'd save by not being in traffic.
jeez, shoulda just made this thread into a poll... who wants to be able to: a) plumb b) play piano i learnt some piano stuff many years ago, but in the end realized that it wasn't really that interesting to me. i could belt out Toccatta and Fugue in D Minor or In The Hall of the Mountain King on my Alesis Quadrasynth and through my Korg 05R/W, but beyond learning those by rote there wasn't much use for learning proper piano playage.
I had the same experience with acoustic guitar... I learned to play Nirvana's "come as you are" and Marilyn Mansosn's "sweet dreams" on acoustic guitar, and once that was over with I totally lost interest.
yeah my mate showed me how to play some Nirvana riff thingy, that was cool. but dude... first time i've heard Sweet Dreams referred to as MM's... Eurythmics rock!
Hey Bud, why not start here... http://www.ellusionist.com/order/king.htm Or... http://www.1streetmagic.com/david_blaine/david-blaine-levitation.htm

I wish I could draw. I wish I could make drawings like Ryalex does. I WISH RYALEX WOULD READ THIS SINCE I'M TALKING REALLY LOUD. I WISH RYALEX WOULD TELL ME HOW HE DOES THOSE BEAUTIFUL DRAWINGS! There.
PM me. Check my profile. I can help. On topic: I would love to know how to do an on-line stock trade once in awhile. I feel like I'm reading Russian when I'm at one of those sites (Ameritrade, eTrade, etc.).
Something that I will do one day: learn how to drift like the professionals. I believe the pro drift racers are some of the best drivers, since they can keep a car in control after it has lost all control. I try to teach myself, but a crappy car in my high school parking lot just doesn't help.
Levitate, and magically become able overnight to do every repair and maintenance job on any vintage V12 Ferrari, including completely rebuilding engines.
cool thread PETERS.... ya know some of the threads on here have had me wondering if i could branch out and do custom fabrication / sheet metal work on exotic and custom cars. i have a few pics of my work, but most of the jets i work on are Experimental, Government or Military in nature. i dont want to give away any info that would void my Non DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT and / or get me sued or killed off. i am not meaning to brag , and i am NOT joking, but i have made some really cool stuff out of all kinds of materials. seems to me the folks of the caliber that NAPOLIS and similar owners use are top notch pros " known" in the classic / exotic car community. to be able to keep a "0846" or "002c" alive must be a hell of a feeling. all my stuff flies away, and 99.9% of the time i cannot keep a record, blueprint spec, nor take any sort of picture. and i want to EARN a V12 CAR.........
Work on my own Ferrari, tip to tail, inside and out and everything in between while knowing I did it right. I can do the old muscle car stuff but this Italian thing is way outta my league.
