I bought a couple of 308 engine hatch struts off Ebay. They were intended for my '81 308gtsi, which was missing them, but when I got them, they appear to be about half as long as they need to be. The ones I received are 10-1/2" long fully extended and have the following written on them: Ferrari Made in West Germany 290319 0250N 22/89 E 09 605.595.00. Any idea what car they go to? Thanks.

So do some 308's have dual pressurized struts on the front bonnet? Mine has an unpressurized pole with a button to release it, which is consistent with what's shown in the manual.

The original equipment Ferrari struts have the Ferrari part number printed on them.
The last group of numbers 60559500 is the part number for front bonnet struts for all Mondial's.
