what cars came with this?

That's a GTS & GTB Turbo, a 2.0 litre Italian-only model. The NACA duct is used for cooling.

 

In addition to what Tillman wrote..... it's a Ferrari 208 (not 308) because of the 2 liter engine. Yearly road tax on cars in Italy went way up (perhaps still does) when engine capacity exceeded 2 liters. That's why this model was produced.

The cars posted above are GTB Turbo and GTS Turbo. The models lost the 208 designation when they changed to the 328 body.

There was also a previous 2.0 liter non-turbo variant of the GTB, GTS and GT4 bodystyles.

I believe those cars were done by the German customizer/tuner whose name starts with a K but CRS steps in.

Is there anybody here that owns one of these cars? I was aware of these cars, thanks Wikipedia and QV500, before signing up here, but I was hoping that there would be a couple owners of these turbo cars on this forum. I haven't seemed to have seen any as of yet. I would love to see more pictures. I would also love to see one that somebody has done some 'tinkering' with. There is a lot of hidden potential in those early era turbo cars, as witnessed by what Ferrari later did with the GTO and F40 with the same basic setup.
