A ferrari must be red...only red.

 

I sometimes wonder what the F40 would look like in black. (Were there any that weren't red?)

But for classic Ferraris ...
"A 250TR60 I can afford? ... Nah, I'll wait for a chartruse one."

Whatever color you can get is the "right" color.

 

IMO the best example of a Ferrari that busts the 'All Ferraris look best in Red' rule is the 456.
They just look like big red blobs - in blue or silver they look great. These colours tend to bring out the subtlety of the lines.
