Guys, can u suggest your favourite interior leather colors or combinations to go with the standard red exterior paint on a 430? I am trying to spec mine and where I lived, pretty much every 430 comes with either the tan or black leather. What other colors for interior leather does ferrari offer? What would you suggest? Would appreciate all ideas please! Thanks.
Have any of you ordered your 430 with aluminium trim instead of Carbon Fiber? BTW, the interior pixs in this forum have helped me greatly to visualise what my car would look like. Thank you all for sharing. Cheers...

Cuoio is really nice on a rosso corsa F430. What I like too is black leather but only the seats in red (rosso), but I only like that when the seats are sport seats.

I like Black the best. Also red on the Enzo and Stradale.

    Hate crema.

Coupe 1, there was a thread about this topic, specifically about Cuoio (naturale), which is a darker-type tan. The logic was that it matched the carpet choice better. Here is a link to that thread.

There are some pictures with that thread. There was also the topic of getting a matching cuoio dash (not black).

I just ordered my red spider with Sabbia int with black inserts, piping and stitching. I have seen it before in person and I love it. If you want to see a pic, go to website of Steve Harris Imports and go to inventory. They have a 2004 spider in this color combo.

That was very helpful! Thanks for the link. Does anyone know what parts of the cabin are effected by the Carbon Fiber Lower option?

Our 430 Coupe is Rosso Corsa, with a Crema interior (Black dash board leather), Carbon Fiber dash board, Red stitching and Red carpets. One of the most popular colour choices in the UK.

Im about to get the car out and give it a quick leather off, so I'll try and get a picture for you, as the only picture i have of the interior doesnt show a lot of it.

You also see the Biege colour interior (which to be honest in my opinion, on Red, doesnt look right), and the other main choice is Black leather.

I cant stand the F430 without the Carbon Fiber dash board, the aluminium ruins it for me. But I also believe that with most supercars, Black interiors make it dull, even a Lime Green Koeingsegg CCR I had a sit in with Black interior, made it feel dark inside (although, it was nice). :)

Just ordered rosso corsa cpe. with dual colored interior (cuoio/tan),new cuoio colored carpet. (May or June del. date). Option for dual colored interior is only few hundred more than leather for rear bench and headliner in mono color.
Would not have considered this if not seen on this forum. Thanks to all.
Pics to follow, May or June.

PS: This car needs CF rear grill and CF driving zone above all, IMHO.

I have heard of one. The guy who sold me my 360 did so because his 430 came in. I respect everyone's opinion, but just to quote, he said he was "extremely disappointed and wished the dealer would have stopped him from ordering it". "My heard sank when I saw it". He thinks also, the car will be hard to sell. Just quoting and don't want to say there is any right or wrong answer.

hi guys... sorry if I seem not to have participated in my own posting. Was away overseas... Thanks for all the suggestions. I have read everything twice! Black with red stitching seems to be the natural choice, but I have seen cars with that combination look a bit grubby after a couple of years. Tan would be a common and popular choice, as would be cuio. I would like to do something different though. Going down to my dealer tomorrow to look thru the leather colors and see if I can pick something different. I have decided on 2 areas though.. 1. the upper dashboard to be in black, 2. the carpets in black too. Trying to decide if I should go with carbon fibre or aluminium trim also. And carbon fibre for driving zone?

So help me think out of the box...any zany suggestions or striking colors to match with rosa corsa...how else would u spec your car other than the choices all of you have suggested. Cheers..

Try red interior. But, tone it down w/ medium gray carpets.
Keep the dash /wheel black, carpets gray, and leather red. It would be stunning if you spec it so the red does not overwhelm.
Definitely not red leather w/ red carpet.

Personally, I would recommend the carbon fiber dash and driving zone, both look really good. But thats down to your taste at the end of the day.

Even if you like a certain colour for a certain area of the interior, I believe you can order it how ever you want. I've seen pictures on this forum of a Rosso F430 with a Black interior, with Red seats and door inserts.

Its down to what you like, and the best thing to do if your not sure, is to try and see as many combinations as possible. :)

I guess if you really want to go nuts, you can take a tour of the factory in Italy.

Our Richmond, VA group is going in Feb. 7 of us going. One of our group has a car on the production line currently and he is going to view it. His colors are chosen, of course, but it will be fun to see it in progress. Apparently the factory makes a really big deal about it.

I am sure I am going to see at least 1 of everything there!

For some reason I can not get the attachment feature to work. If you click on my name in the left hand corner, it will show you my profile.

My profile has a picture of when I was detailing my car, all cuoio interior. I have been very satisfied with the look of the 1 tone interior.

Has anyone with the light colored steering grips noted any soiling or darkening from normal hand persiration etc?

What he said. Although somehow all the UK cars seem to have them.

Cancel the red and change the exterior color to black or grigio titanio. Then you can have red, tan, sabbia, crema or whatever interior you like and the car will look stunning.

Also, the F430 looks bigger and heavier than the 355 and earlier, and the darker tones help disguise the added girth/length. I wouldn't buy one in red. But if it's your favourite color then disregard...

(So there, I'm thinking out of the box.)
