I searched, and I apologize if this is a repost anyway. http://i488.photobucket.com/albums/rr242/86westy/112_0807_04zbatman_the_dark_knight_.jpg What color is the LP-640 used in The Dark Knight? I can't find any photos with the colors labeled, aside from poor reproductions in various online configurators. Thanks.
The only scene in movie history to bring a tear to my eye was the unfortunate crashing of that car. I loved the color combo especially with the yellow calipers.
Yes ! that was the best part of the movie ! didi someone notice the bike ? It was an exotic "Italian" motorcycle called AGUSTA here's a pic of BATMAN and his 2 toys http://www.flickr.com/photos/martin_miura/2758005521/sizes/l/
Correct, Grigio Telesto. The color itself changes under different light. SoCAL LP640.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
What amazes me is camera equipment is still not compact, unless it was in HD format. Thanks for posting that photo.
That was at Pebble Beach on 17-mile drive. Here you go, 1600x1200: http://www.speedandmotion.com/pages/monterey/pictures/slides/IMG_1277_1600.html And rest of photo set from Monterey: http://www.speedandmotion.com/pages/monterey/pictures/index.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
The reason the camera equipment isn't compact is because they shot the whole movie in IMAX format. I think you'd be surprised at how big the prints are even
Yup, they shot 6 sequences in IMAX format and they looked amazing on the IMAX screen. Seeing the LP on a 60X80 feet screen was breath taking. From my understanding the car wrecked was an actual LP640, but if someone could verify this that would be great.
the lambo in the movie was amazing, that color is perfect with black wheels and yellow calipers i actually thought it was pretty good
