What dealers are taking deposits for 420s?

    My dealer told me they are not taking deposits for 420s yet. They even said it was illegal to take a deposit for a car that has not been announced.

    In the past I have put deposits on many cars before they were officially announced. So that sounds like BS to me.

    The dealer, however, took my $10K deposit for a 360 Spider. What should I make of that? There aren't going to be any new 360s by the time its my turn.

    What US dealer will take my deposit? Please let me know.

    Any authorized dealer. They won't turn down the cash, even if it's just to put you on their list pending the factory opening their order book.

    All UK authorized dealers are taking deposits.

    They also accept letters of intention whereby you go on file and as soon as they are taking deposits you get a reminder to hand over deposit.
