    So this afternoon an orange coupe pootled past me (heading north from Peregian) as I was standing looking north, so I basically only saw a little bit of the side and the rear end; basically no sound as it was dead slow for the huge speed hump at the zebra crossing... at first I thought maybe McLaren but not really, rear badge looked like VW? Big badge, dead centre of the rear panel. Full open roof, but there were curved buttresses down from about headrest hight to the rear deck... google threw this up:

    Is it possible that’s what I saw?

    Far out - just realised it could it have been a 296 GTS - have any arrived in aus yet?

    I think yore barking up the wrong tree.

    If it had an open roof can't be a 296 (there is no GTS) or the thing you posted.

    IMO almost certainly a McLaren or Lambo of some sort.

    Or perhaps a Lotus Exige?
