A 1977 Mercury Capri. No air conditioning, one very tinny sounding AM radio. One side was several shades lighter than the rest from where it had been wrecked. The back seat was so small that I had to bend myself into a pretzel every time I got back there with my girlfriend . The sunroof wouldn't close all the way so it leaked every time it rained. But that little thing had a big V-6 under the hood, a 5 speed manual tranny, and would flat fly. I still miss it.
'01 Subaru Legacy GT LTD- black/ black. Perfect for school. Low key, nice [enough]. Leather, 6 cd in-dash changer, manual transmission, AWD for the snow, sunroof, etc. Cheap insurance, easy maintenance, and a ton of dealerships in the area if something went wrong (which it didn't). 160hp 4 banger kept gas cheap. Had large backseats to cram friends, and an even larger trunk for beer.. HIGHLY recommended! Coincidently, I was in the market to sell it recently-- but will be holding on to it just a bit longer as I'll be temporarily relocating for work.

Yeah, I hitchhiked everywhere. First lesson for serious hitchhiking is to find a hippie chick like the Jungle Pam on the drag racing thread. The guy then hides in the bushes until some horny trucker pulls over. They'll do it every time. Dale
I had a 1969 Buick LeSabre with a 350 high performance engine and 100,000 miles on it. It looked like junk, but it could sure move in a hurry.
1966 Buick Skylark GS. 401 nailhead engine w/ pitiful 2sp powerglide auto. Quick until you had to shift at about 70. Then a Triumph TR250, 1971 T-Bird and finally a '73 Olds Cutlass S with the swivel seats. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dude, those are bullet proof. I just realized the thread question was what one drove in College. The GTi was in high school and I too had E30 BMW's through College Awesome cars. I will build an E30 racecar soon enough!
A 1970 Marcos 3L- not too handy in snowy upstate NY, but probably the coolest car on campus with the possible exception of the classmate who had a new orange 914/6.
