What did you have for lunch today?

Only 3 hours away from Fargo! it certainly is not haha

 

Having leftover curried mussel meats tossed with linguini and black olives. Looks pretty horrid, so no pictures, but it absolutely delish!

 

Today i needed something warm and i found it! Grilled chicken wrap and a mexican chipotle soup.Some timbits/donuts for the team as well.

Man, it's been dog years since I had some timbits. Who knew the "hole" tasted better than the donut? Tim Horton that's who!

No Kidding! I've been eating some real healthy food lately but the timbits got me good today. Didn't help that I brought 50 for the team! I capped myself at 5

I'm surprised I didn't but I really need to clean up a bit. This year with travelling has put on about 10 lbs and more importantly I'm not home for a weekly game or two of hockey.

With the holidays coming and lunch being paid for I try to eat healthy while on the road. So to give you an idea this is in my fridge right now. I had a salad for dinner. This week has been great with nothing but water, orange juice, and pomegranate juice! No energy drinks, coffee, or alcohol. It's getting harder now but only got about a day and half left.

Tomorrow the plan is Blueberries & Sunflower seeds in the morning, sushi and pom poms for lunch, follow up by most likely a salad and blackberries.

Northern Italy Ragu, pork chop with polenta, breaded fried zucchini, and to drink a birra Moretti.

Northern Italy Ragu is just ground beef cooked in olive oil, sometimes with some Paprika, and served with various pastas. I've been very disappointed with the lack of garlic and cheese in Northern Italian cooking.

Whipped up a quick grilled turkey and cheese. Little vegenaise (why does my wife buy this stuff?) and mustard, and a few slices of mystery cheese (not sure which is which in the package). Simple but sooo good. Must be the butter in the pan that takes it to the next level.
