Saw the coolest thing on "Check Please Arizona" the other night and tried it today. Its a "grilled" sandwich that ends up with a very thin and very crispy crust of bread, that ends up shaped like a flying saucer, filled with yummy sandwich things. Its called Zookz and it run by a fantastic entrepreneur (she was there today, I suspect she works pretty much around the clock). We had 3 sandwiches; a breakfast one with poached eggs with perfectly creamy soft yokes, cheese, bacon and cream cheese; another poached egg one with spinach, feta and tomatoes; and one turkey with apples, candied nuts and raisins. All were excellent. Super great idea and she is getting franchise inquires constantly. Thus far, she has two owned stores and isn't planning to franchise. She is adding another store near gate B9 in Terminal 4 at PHX soon if you ever find yourself at the PHX airport. First pic is from the web of the device she uses to make these amazing "grilled" sandwiches: Image Unavailable, Please Login Turkey with apples, nuts and raisins: Image Unavailable, Please Login Breakfast version with poached egg, bacon, cheese and cream cheese. And look how thin the bread crust is! These are simply delicious! Image Unavailable, Please Login

That contraption looks like something we used to make pocket sandwiches back in the day! They look yummy. T

Do it! Tell him he has to earn it though by using it to whip up some gourmet meals for dear old Dad! Better watch out, Jason, by the time your young man leaves the house, you're gonna weigh 300 pounds! T
Out for a drive before the deep freeze arrives. Went to a local coffee shop that also does great Mexican food. We got their chicken burritos. Chicken, guacamole, black beans, rice, salsa, and just spicy enough. Excellent. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Yeah a repeat visit... same as past posts 1327 and 1518. We really need to try something other than the weiners. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/145865815/ https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/146131337/

Not this time with the NSX. Weather has been terrible. Won’t stop raining. Fog and drizzle all day today. Already the wettest year and a month to go. It’s getting really old.

As much as I love gyro's, some places get way to liberal with the sauce. I always get it on the side now.
