Continuing the gastro tour with my brother and nephew visiting PDX. Checked off two Guy Fieri Triple D joints.

Chin’s Kitchen for handmade dumplings and fresh noodles. Great dough chew! Handmade noodles with braised brisket. Handmade steamed dumplings with pork and leek stuffing. Soft tofu with braised pork belly. Rice vermicelli with braised brisket and tendons. 8.5 to 9/10. Lunch for 3 for $62 minus tip; $75 total.

We then stopped at Otto’s for a variety of sausages and cured cased meat. Otto’s is a Fieri favorite. Filmed there 3X! I picked up some English bangers, their Hunter sausage, and pepperoni sticks for snacking’. Sorry, no pics.

My own recipe. I bought this dip at Costco: Spinach Artichoke & Parmesan Dip & Spread - La Terra Fina one container is too big for one person and even after splitting it with my parents. It is still too big. I also bought a whole chicken and pita bread there. Have a big block of cheddar I'm also trying to use up. So I put them all together for lunch:

Popped it in the micro wave to melt the cheddar and parmesan. The dip is better heated up. Great lunch, since the dip is Greek yogurt based it is kind of Gyro like.

Decided to be healthy today and got a poke bowl. Six kinds of poke. Some salmon, tuna, and sea scallops. Forget the other three. Very good. Worth the $26 bucks. I almost like poke more than Japanese now:
