    They are to raise and lower the suspension. Offers extra ground clearance for parking and speed bumps.

    Not quite...it is for suspension, however it has nothing to do with raising and lowering the car for speed bumps, ground clearance, etc...it only offers a stiffer or softer ride...you can manually adjust, which is numbered from 1-4 and adjusted using the arrows you see on the top and bottom...or keep it on "auto" as I keep mine...while driving, you'll see the ride adjust between the numbers depending on the road conditions.

    The lifting system is activated by the button in front of the shifter, as you can see in the photo...first one on the left, middle is the Traction Control on/off button, then the "bat wings" button...which will only come up manually when the car is stopped...past that, they're temperature controlled.

    I experimented with suspension levels once; since then, I keep it in auto position, it performs perfectly for everyday driving. If you track the car, you may want to self-adjust.
