From what I can deduce about its history:
    First owner - 1986 - 1996
    Second owner 1996 - 2007
    Third owner 2007 -
26,500 miles stated when on Ebay in 2007.
One of the very last 400is - 4th from last serial number in my list.

I sent someone out to inspect it. After their report, I didn't make any moves on it.

Willing to share the report/highlights/low lights and why it kept you from making moves on it? I see some paint flaws.

That's the right/decent thing to do. Years back, I checked out a 400i for sale in my back yard - easily multiple 7 figures' worth of other specimens in the garage. But as to the actual 400i, I simply felt that ethically/morally, I would not mess with someone else's 'bread'. But, by offering info via PM, for anyone who was serious enough about wanting to perhaps purchase the car, then they would have (and did) gotten my .02 cents! I took mental notes and tons of pics as if I were purchasing the car and came up with my own opinions (about the car, not the nice+ cool people trying to sell it). Good for you in keeping things private and only hope others follow our lead. Oye - ya tienes un 400 y estas en el mercado buscando otro?!? Vivo no muy lejos de ti y frecuento tu ciudad a menudo. Manda mensaje privado para charlar mas.

Btw - I hate, despise and loathe this 'new' software upgrade on the dang website that doesn't let me even do such mundane task as simply being able to quote Miami355's message above. Sucks for me to be in the minority but why change something that wasn't broken to begin with? How difficult must you make things where I can't simply quote someone who had just written a message before mine, Administrator? Check out how many posts I originated before the changes and how many now? Check out the number of views too - venting...

Quote actually works better on the new site. :) One of the new features I do like.

I guess I cannot simply shake away having come from a small island where people still live under palm trees... To get along, one at times (and with most dignity) shall go along... :(

Except multiquote is non-existent and you have to bodge a workaround for that.

Multiquote works too. You select all the ones you want to quote then click on.

I am interested in any info on this car. Not sure how to PM on the new site. Haven't posted here in a while. Could you PM the reasons why you passed on this car. Thanks in advance!

Miami, was considering this care as my first Ferrari. Would really appreciate knowing your feedback on the vehicle but can't figure out how to PM here. If you know how would you mind PMing me with your thoughts?
