Nice site. I'm confused though. The Challenger is gorgeous! I never remember it saying "six pack" on the hood. Did you put that on, or was that factory? My guess is that it was from the factory. Can't believe that you would install that on such a wonderful example. And, by the way, your wife is pretty cool to make a site like that for your birthday.
Are you building it yourself? How are you setting it up other than the big motor? A whole lot of power in a 90" wheelbase, 2300lbs car can be a lot less fun that it sounds in theory. Hope you're doing power steering. **** happens quick.
Cool sight! My family has a Chrysler/Dodge dealership (where I work) and my father's partner is a huge Mopar nut! He has a few cool cars in his collection and an old early-60's race-car under resto. I'll have to show him your site.
That's factory, it says " 440 Six Pack" . All the cars in my collection are original, #'s matching, with their original drivelines. Thank you for the compliments, I haven't updated the site in a while, the Super Bee was sent off to get restored recently in Conn. The Hemi Belvedere is slated to have a photo shoot for "Hemmings Muscle Machines" this Wed. The article will be called "Hemi's in the Hood" focusing primarily on rare Hemi Cars within NYC. My personal favorite is probably the Belvedere, mainly because it's such a sleeper. The motor was built by legendary engine builder "Larry Shepard" and was dynoed at 615hp, & 640ft lbs tourque, but appears completely stock externally. Supercar owners wouldn't give it a second thought at a redlight but would be in for some suprise when the light turns green.LOL
The guys a member at The Westbury in Atlantic Beach. When I lived in the City, I was a member and spent at least 6 years there. He was there every Sunday. My brothers still a member and still sees it on occassion. Next to a 57 Caddilac, this is the car from that era. Its very rare. Under 100 made.
