A true enthusiast will find a way to own the car they want. I am not rich, I own my own shops and work 6 days weeks on other peoples cars. With the right compromises, there are many possibilites in the F-car arena.

Here's a strategy--it takes time, but you get a Ferrari from day 1:
Start with a "lowly" 308, drive it, keep up the maintenance, buy it outright or pay it off in within 3 years. When it's paid off, keep it a few years (saving all the time) then sell it (they retain their resale value if you keep up the maintenance and don't put 100k miles on them) and upgrade to a higher model. Keep doing this and you'll find yourself with a modern Ferrari.

I married my ex-wife, .....the maintenance and child support was killing me, but it did bestow it's dividend in the garage.

I'm just a regular truck driver :D so there is no hockus-pockus to be a Ferrari owner, just save up some money and stay away from one-night-stands :D (which CAN result in high expences):D:D

It all depends on how dedicated you are. I don't have a Ferrari but my Maserati payment is probably my biggest bill.

I'll let everyone in on a simple, little secret. Tomorrow, August 1st, start with a penny. On the following day, double that penny to make it two cents. On the day after, double it again to make it four cents. Repeat process over the following days. At the end of the month you'll find that you'll be a millionaire several times over. Then you can own as many F-cars as your little heart desires...

Interestingly, Ferrari Uk I believe did a survey a couple of years back on what kind of income bracket people who buy new Ferraris belong in and I recall that on average the income bracket was greater than £600000 or $1000000 a year for your average new Fcar buyer.

    Wrong question, let's re-phrase:
What do Ferrari owners do to a LIVING to afford these beauties?

If you work as a hitman, drug dealer or arms smuggler for a few years, you will definitely have the funds to buy an F-car. Death sells.
