Sit low in the seat and pray. Have the plate handy on the passenger seat with an excuse at the ready about overheating problems.

Lived in Mass for 4 years. Boston city requires all cars to have front license plated mounted before a license can be issued to the vehicle. I told my dealership to tape the license plate on the front to get it signed off. Drove around for 4 years and never had a problem with officers giving me any trouble. If ever caught, I have double sided tape in the trunk to get the job done.

When you get stopped, tell the officer...the bracket is on order from the dealer.....

    Worked for me.

I'm putting the collector vehicle plate on mine so I don't have to have a front plate and only regester it once!

    Cheers!

Funny... When I was living in Portland, I used to get stopped often (and was occasionally fined) when I drove my other cars without front plates. But, I never got pulled over in the Ferrari without the front plate.

I guess cops can be car people, too. :)

I never had a front plate on my 330 2+2, and didn't got stopped in 4 years driving in cop-heavy territory (Whiterock area of Dallas). I always carried it in the trunk, though.

Don't have one on my 308 either, but have it stashed behind the driver's seat, handy if I need to show it.

There are many cars of all description w/o front plates here in Dallas.
