Man of the Internet
Assuming you are a fan of the Ferrari brand and perhaps one day hope to purchase one I see no reason why not. And to me the Ferrari and Maserati are like cousins anyway considering the maser has a detuned Ferrari engine in it. Honestly before I rented the Ferrari California I was certain I was going to get a 13 up maserati Granturismo sport. Nice car. The California is just a little nicer. Since I knew and understood what cars were my favorite cars have been late 60s early 70s mopars and the Ferrari 308 and Testarosa. First modern Ferrari I fell in love with was when I saw the 360. I still prefer the body lines of that car over the f430. Never did get into the Lamborghini's but did like the first mclaren I saw. Then every subsequent mclaren looked remarkably similar to its predecessor. I might not always like the Ferrari body designs but there is plenty that Ferrari offered to keep me as a lifelong fan, and after renting and driving them the only thing left is to become an owner. Luckily I will soon be able to realize that dream.
Commercial fishing, I own fleet of Florida Gulf of Mexico boats, grouper and snapper are main species my boats catch and sell to the market. That and I am a car whore
LOL, it is fine. My title is on my business cards and LinkedIn, I'm fairly anal about OPSEC but this is fine.
Investor relations for a public mining company. My job is very boring in winter cause the mine doesn't do anything during winter. So have nothing to report onto investors, etc..
Exploration stage or actually already mining? Curious as I've had your job. Grew up around the business.
I just quit my job as a physical therapist and recently applied for a part time job as a "mom backer" with a local trucking company. I was looking to find something a little less stressful. I'm really looking forward to the job, all I need to do is just stand behind the trucks and yell "MOM BACK, MOM BACK, MOM BACK" then "WHOA" and thats pretty much it. I also get a cool looking vest that lights up in the dark.
What are the job opportunities in the USA for people like me who have studied natural sciences like mechanical engineering? Here in Germany it's very difficult to get a appropriate job position when you haven't extremly good grades or connections. A lot of employees are working here for engineering services like Magna Steyr, EDAG, bertrandt etc. where the wages aren't very high.
I've been a ME for 27 years. I'm in the Oil & Gas industry. 2015 to late last year were brutal, we had 70% reduction in our department. Now the market has flipped and we can't fill some positions. For US salaries, ASME did a survey in 2012 that is easy to find in pdf form on the net. Take those numbers and add 10%.
